It was a busy time during December at Way Interglobal Network LLC as it held its 12th annual Open House for OEM customers Attendees got a first look at a host of new products including the companys first foray into the air conditioning space The appointment only event which ran Dec 8 18 had more than 40 groups scheduled Sessions ran daily in a recently remodeled 3000 square foot showroom in the companys headquarters at 3002 Coast Court Elkhart Ind Significant COVID restrictions were in place to assure the safety of all concerned Every day for two weeks we had customers in for hour long meetings every hour on the hour said Wayne Kaylor Way founding partner and president We get a ton of divisions or brands or companies through every day There was a fair amount of excitement among those visiting the open house Kaylor said not only because Way introduced several new products that are a little bit different than whats been done in the past but I think the overall feeling was that the industrys in a great spot right now at least for the next couple of years and theyre looking to improve and upgrade their products as the year goes on for model change Way offers a wide range of products to the RV industry including gas electric and convection cooking appliances energy efficient refrigerators and freezers outdoor cooking grills and griddles fireplace furnishings and heaters conditioners under the Everchill brand Weve introduced a couple of different versions of air conditioners We have a 135K and a 15K BTU vented and app controlled thermostat controlled Kaylor said adding that a larger unit is in the works There are a couple of things were working on that we didnt show here at the open house but weve been talking to customers about them he said We are working on a smaller 12 volt unit that will operate pretty much for a single axle type space Were also working on a larger single unit typical for residential that could run the whole coach with a ducted network So instead of having two 15K rooftops youd have a single unit that could run everything for the coach The new line is the companys first venture into the air conditioning market Its brand new Kaylor said Weve been working on this project for about two years We kind of shelved it a little bit towards the end of last year and resurrected it right before COVID hit so the timing was pretty good to get back into it and move forward Other new products include a French door 12 volt 17 cubic foot residential refrigerator which has been very well received with several major OEMs committed to using it in their coaches Kaylor said Also new is a mid size slide in gas range and a four function microwave convection bake broil and air fry that can be mounted under the counter top Gary Gerard RVB
