National Indoor RV Centers Pursues its Plan for a National Presence with 4th Sales Service Facility M A R C H A P R I L 2 0 1 9 RVBusiness 77 National Indoor RV Centers NIRVC is extending its geographic reach this spring with the near completion of an expansive new store in Las Vegas The Dallas based company was set up back in 2009 by CEO and co owner Brett Davis who after some trying experiences of his own as a fledgling motorhome owner wanted to offer RV enthusiasts a unique white glove support system that takes the hassle out of RVing NIRVC which started selling Forest River Entegra and Newmar motorhomes about five years ago has succeeded in cultivating a considerable following among upscale RVers for whom it provides storage and concierge services at strategically placed locations in Dallas Lewisville Atlanta Lawrenceville Phoenix and now Las Vegas as well with the February soft opening of its largest outlet to date It was an existing warehouse building one exit south of the Las Vegas Speedway NIRVC President Tadd Jenkins told RVBusiness It was perfect for us offering 225000 square feet with five acres under roof that will accommodate 300 to 350 coaches regardless of size NIRVCs new Vegas location includes sales and service offices and a customer waiting area but like its other facilities no space for an indoor showroom the bulk of the facility having been turned over to hundreds of RVs stored indoors The Vegas facility represents the next in NIRVCs strategic business model that calls for a national network of outlets for NIRVC which according to Jenkins is currently looking at prospective locations in Denver Charleston S C and Central Florida Brett Davis bought his first coach in 1985 said Jenkins He was horrified by the service process repulsed by the sales process and he couldnt find a storage facility that he thought was secure enough for his dieselpusher motorhome So he decided to bring a brand new concept to the industry where customers come to us to have a hassle free experience When customers call us at least 24 hours beforehand he explained we will have their coach ready to go We go down to the smallest detail People even give us a list of things that they want stocked for their travels We also take care of washing and detailing the coach Essentially when they pick up their motorhome they are ready to hit the road NIRVCs five year expansion plan calls for adding new U S facilities potentially two a year that create a safety net of sorts for motorhomers from coast to coast The plan is if youre driving on I 10 or I 80 youll always be within 500 miles of an NIRVC store explained Jenkins It follows Bretts original vision to create a network of service centers in the travel patterns of high end coach owners And while upscale storage is still the companys main focus here in 2019 NIRVC is also looking to maintain and grow its retail sales across the board after having gotten off to a strong start according to Jenkins who said that one of the companys prime reasons for moving into the Vegas market was to avoid Californias burdensome regulations We absolutely wanted to tap that California market but we didnt want to deal with all the oversight from the state he said in late February Las Vegas was a logical alternative Its a huge draw for a lot of West Coast motorhome owners We did a soft opening three weeks ago and we already have 110 contracts leased NIRVC executives L R Tino Beltran Dominic ODonnell Taylor Jenkins and Mike Griggs NIRVCs Las Vegas store a former warehouse offers 225000 square feet of space
