Technology Based Sales Tools Helping Dealership Toolkit Enjoy Rapid Growth New Firm Now Serving 24 RV Dealerships Coast to Coast D ealership Toolkit a Tampa based company providing a variety of technology based solutions to aid sales and marketing efforts in the RV marine automotive and adjacent industries is quickly making a name for itself after having been founded in June of 2018 Buoyed by its exhibit at the RV Dealer Convention Expo last November in Las Vegas Dealership Toolkit officials report it is working with three automotive dealers three marine dealers and about 24 RV dealers Were very fortunate to have grown so fast much faster than I anticipated said founder Rich DeLancey When I look around the room today we have over 30 employees already amazing when I look back to last July when I was sitting in this office all by myself Perhaps its DeLanceys perspective on the dealership sales process that has resulted in his companys expansion His first job following college was at a newspaper which is where DeLanceys view of the quintessential 82 RVBusiness M A R C H A P R I L 2 0 2 0 dealership sales funnel was clarified by a veteran editor at the paper He told me to look around we have reporters editors artists advertising sales people press operators logistics and trucking to get the paper out to the curb but it all comes down to a kid on a bike throwing that newspaper up on the porch Think about that You can have the best product in the world you can have the best design and everything but if the dealer doesnt represent it right to the buyer it will not sell he related Having worked in automotive dealership marketing for more than 25 years De Lancey found that even though he was generating tons of leads for dealers their sales didnt improve So really the mission of Dealership Toolkit is to give dealerships the tools and the data to not only have a lead but to get more out of that lead and to convert BY RON BARGER it to a sale quicker and better he said The process starts with an assessment of the dealerships current forms of communication and deciding what services need more attention DeLancey explained Dealership Toolkit then matches the dealers with its advisory network comprised of some of the top players in the automotive RV marine and powersports fields Once we solidify the relationship I have a couple of very talented marketing experts that go out and we start an analysis at the dealer to see how we can help
