NEWMAR CORP Open House Highlights For 2020 Newmar Corp renamed the former Ventana LE line as the Kountry Star pictured here is the 3709 model After a brief hiatus Newmar Corp returns to the Elkhart RV Dealer Open House at its familiar spot at Ramco Engineering which is located on the north side of County Road 6 on Frederic Drive just west of County Road 15 Last year Newmar elected to invite dealers to its campus in Nappanee Ind to see the companys new 160000 square foot Service Center and Newmar unveils its new model year products at its dealer meetings each spring John Sammut Newmars vice president of sales and marketing said Newmar will display a partial sampling of 14 products ranging from the Bay Star Sport line to the New Aire The big thing is were going to introduce a second Super C product at the Open House called the Supreme Aire Sammut said adding the 566559 base MSRP motorhome is an outstanding addition to Newmars family of luxury products and caters to a discriminating high end RV customer not previously serviced by our company The Supreme Aire is a luxury super C product available in three 45 foot floorplans with two of the three models offering full wall slides Built on a Freightliner M2 112 chassis its powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 diesel motor providing 505 horsepower and 1850 lbs ft of torque for a towing capacity of 30000 pounds The Supreme Aire will provide four interior décor packages and four exterior paint combinations as well as four wood cabinet colors available in either a matte or high gloss finish Standard features include the air ride cab tire pressure monitoring system hydronic zone heating with continuous hot water two Girard Nova integrated patio awnings 4K Samsung televisions and the On Guard collision mitigation and adaptive cruise system Sammut said the Supreme Aire will slot in as a higherend product than the Super Star the Super C that made its debut at 150 RVBusiness S E P T E M B E R O C T O B E R 2 0 1 9 RVX The RV Experience event earlier this year The product content and even the interior decor packages will basically use the same as what we have in our 2020 Mountain Aire Sammut explained So if you think of the Mountain Aire the Supreme Aire will be on the same level of product as the Mountain Aire even though its a different segment of the market where the Super Star was really on par with the Ventana Similar to the Super Star the Supreme Aire will only be available to two of its dealers at the outset However Newmar expects both the Supreme Aire and the Super Star to eventually make their way onto more of their dealer lots as demand dictates and as chassis availability improves Among the other units Newmar will have at Open House will be models from the Ventana and Kountry Star lines The Ventana was the recipient of a product life cycle makeover while the Kountry Star is the new name for what previously had been known as the Ventana LE line The 2020 Ventana sports an entirely new profile and look thanks to newly styled front and rear caps as well as well as integrated Girard G2000 awnings New on the inside the Ventana has a digital electronic instrumentation dashboard as well as Freightliners new DriveTech advanced RV display control and driving system featuring an all new ergonomic steering wheel and columnmounted controls a system now found on all Newmars diesel products featuring a Freightliner chassis Sammut mentioned they could have elected to include the bulk of Ventanas upgrades on the Ventana LE line but ultimately they decided against it not only to keep the LE in the same 244993 base MSRP price point but it also gave them the opportunity to give the line its own identity as the newly minted Kountry Star If the Kountry Star sounds familiar by the way its because that was the name of Newmars first unit a fifth wheel back in 1968 All 2020 Kountry Star models which check in at either 34 37 or 40 feet long feature a 360 hp Cummins ISB engine Allison 3000 series transmission and a 10000 pound tow hitch The line will retain seven of the eight Ventana LE floorplans and add a new configuration with the 4054 a 40 foot quad slide model with a rear bedroom and large walk through mid ship bath Newmar Returns to Open House with New Supreme Aire Luxury Super C Shows Ventana Kountry Star Open House Display Location County Road 6 Frederic Drive Hours Mon Wed 9am 5pm Thurs 9am Noon Information 800 731 8300 The Ventana line including the 4369 model here was revamped inside and out for 2020
